It is an exciting time in any business when you decide to "rebrand" it by changing how it looks and feels. We started out with something simple when we first started our business opting for colours, fonts and imagery that was simple and easy to recognise. We took our time to examine what this look said about us to our customers and realised early on that we needed something that was more "us". In response we have launched a new website for our main site and psychology site (at this stage) while also updating our brochures, business cards and even e-mail signatures.
Our new look is decidedly us...it is bold, classic, bright and uncluttered...well...maybe don't look in our bedrooms and spare rooms. The font used is curved and classic which conveys flexibility, stability and comfort. We have incorporated in our imagery a woman guiding ducks and a sheep dog taking up the rear to convey guidance, protection and care. These ducks are symbolic of our customers who may need our assistance and guidance. The ducks are not all the same in appearance which represents the diversity in individuals and businesses. We thought ducks were a great metephor for individuals and businesses in that they float on water (symbolic of keeping your head above water aka making profit) they can fly to anywhere their wings can take them and oh so much more.
When designing our concept we thought about our business and thought about what people want from our business. I can't count the number of times I heard people talk about modern businesses or banks as examples and said "they just don't treat customers like they used to". Yes, we are a business which means we want to make profit, but we want to be a business who cares about the issues you face and be able to offer the necessary help and support as needed. The trouble with modern businesses who only want to deal with you via computers and systems is that they often aren't capable of (and are designed to exclude) dealing with exceptions and instead prefer to cater for the "average". ActsIntuitively regards every person as a unique individual with every business having it's own character and processes which is why we aim to cater to those unique needs. It is with these elements in mind that we settled on our tagline or slogan which is "We Invest In You" because essentially that is what we hope to achieve.

Essentially we have created our brand around the customer and who we want to be for them. A business who markets themselves often looks at the things I have discussed and looks to set themselves apart from the flock and that is what we aimed to do. Remember that rebranding is a business wide change and often involves changing many aspects of your business marketing and branding which goes beyond graphical design.
